Afraid? Did you loss any data? Is the Portable hard drive not working? Do not worry, there is always a solution. I have lost 2TB worth movies due to bad sectors in my internal hard drive. Before acting panic I searched in google how to retrieve the data from the Hard Disk which is not even showing in my desktop PC and due to corrupted hard drive sectors I faced slowness in start up.

There were so many software in internet for data recovery but needs to buy the license to use it. Since I have to buy the product anyway I googled to find the best tools in current market to recover data and not just recover, even to prevent such incidents. The best tool I could find for Windows is EaseUS Partition Master.

I purchased the product and managed to recover data and not just that, I found more bad sectors in my other 4TB and 1.5TB hard drives.

After recovering all 2TB to a external Hard Disk to fix the hard disk please follow below steps.

1) Open Start menu and type "cmd" and run as administrator

2) Type in the CMD as below and make sure you format the corrupted hard disk not the drives which are working.

• list disk

• select disk 0

• clean

• create partition primary

• format fs=ntfs

3) place back the data you recover from the corrupted hard disk to the fixed hard disk.
